Divine intervention team-building day | team engagement event

A full-day team-building event in which each team was provided a budget and autonomy to plan activities designed to promote collaboration, strengthen team bonds, and align efforts to drive sales performance.


Served as team lead, overseeing planning, budgeting, and execution. Coordinated logistics, ensured activities aligned with team objectives, and acted as the primary point of contact.


Following the event, team performance improved significantly, with overall metrics increasing by an average of 20%, demonstrating the event’s effectiveness in driving engagement and results.

Sustainable Systems & Sales Initiative | Aquaponics Internship project

January - May 2024 | Mission Waco Urban REAP

Developed and implemented a semester-long project to optimize the Urban REAP aquaponics program by streamlining tracking systems, digitizing SOPs, and improving efficiency across the full produce cycle from seedling to sales.


Project aimed to increase produce sales and improve operational efficiency by creating and re-designing processes while also strengthening community engagement and raising awareness of the program.


Directed a full-cycle project, including research, planning, logistics, and implementation of new systems. Coordinated with stakeholders, strengthened partnerships, and delivered a final presentation to the Baylor Public Health Department.


Achieved a 20% increase in produce sales and expanded program awareness through business outreach and partnerships.

Youth Equestrian Workshop | Baylor Equestrian Volunteer Event

April 2024 | Baylor University Athletics 

Organized and executed an educational equestrian workshop for elementary students, in partnership with Baylor University and Waco Montessori School. The event introduced students to equestrian care and activities through interactive lessons led by volunteers.


Designed to provide hands-on learning opportunities that promoted animal care education, student engagement, and community outreach.


Led all aspects of event planning and execution, including goal-setting, scheduling, logistics, and volunteer coordination.


Successfully delivered a structured, interactive workshop that strengthened school partnerships and provided an engaging educational experience for students.

Health education & advocacy | public health fair event

October 2023 | Baylor University Public Health Department

Collaborated with peers and faculty to plan a community health fair hosted by Baylor’s Public Health Department, providing free resources such as health screenings, nutrition education, food distribution, and hygiene stations.
​
 
Event aimed to improve access to health education and services for community members who may lack regular medical care. Attendees engaged with a range of relevant health issues while receiving immediate support and resources.
​
 
Led a team project focused on Nutrition Education & Advocacy, researching community needs and presenting strategies to improve healthy food access. Also assisted with event logistics and onsite coordination to ensure smooth execution.
​
 
The event drew strong attendance and positive feedback, with participants gaining knowledge on local health challenges and access to free services.

Silent disco event

June - July 2023 | Alameda County Fair

Planned and hosted a recurring weekly silent disco during the Alameda County Fair, attracting diverse fairgoers and enhancing overall guest experience. Coordinated logistics for sound equipment, staffing, and event flow to ensure a seamless production.


Provided an interactive, family-friendly entertainment option designed to engage attendees of all ages in a unique and memorable way.


Targeted fair attendees seeking a modern and inclusive activity that appealed to both younger and older demographics.

Led planning and on-site execution, including scheduling, vendor coordination, volunteer management, and live hosting to ensure smooth operations each week.

Attendance grew by an average of 5% weekly, reaching full capacity by the final weeks of the fair. Strong guest feedback and event popularity led to high demand for its return in future years.

Sic' the stigma evaluation

January - May 2024 | Baylor University

Collaborated on a case study evaluating Sic’ The Stigma, a Baylor University intervention promoting student mental health awareness. Designed an evaluation plan (process, outcome, impact measures goals/objectives, analysis, logic model, data collection, etc.) to assess the program’s effectiveness in reducing the stigma correlated to mental health.


Purpose to ensure the initiative’s long-term impact by assessing its ability to reduce stigma, increase student engagement, and provide meaningful resources for mental health support.


Led planning, research, and execution of the evaluation process, including process, outcome, impact, and formative evaluation. 


Evaluation revealed increased awareness of mental health resources among Baylor students and a measurable improvement in attitudes toward seeking support. The findings provided actionable insights for program enhancements and informed recommendations for future implementation.

Sic' the stigma intervention

August - December 2023 | Baylor University

Planned and designed a campus intervention to reduce vaping and promote overall student well-being at Baylor University, including needs assessment, target audience identification, purpose, partnerships, budget, and sustainability planning.


Program aimed to improve student mental health by providing Waco community gym memberships and expanding access to lifetime fitness classes.


Led the project design and planning with a team, including research, resource coordination, budget planning, and implementation strategy development.


Intervention projected to increase student engagement in fitness activities, improve awareness of local wellness resources, and reduce risk factors associated with poor mental health. Partnerships with community gyms provided ongoing access to fitness opportunities, supporting sustainable improvements in student well-being.

Health Advocacy Campaign

September - December 2023 | Baylor University

Developed a health advocacy initiative to address the high cost of nutritious foods in Texas, contributing to unhealthy diets and elevated diabetes rates among lower-income households. The project involved research, coalition-building, and policy development to increase access to affordable healthy food.


Aimed to lower the cost of fruits, vegetables, and healthy meals in chain grocery stores, improve access for lower-income residents, and educate the public and policymakers to drive systemic change.


Targeted lower-income Texas residents impacted by high food costs, as well as state and local policymakers responsible for public health and nutrition initiatives.


Researched nutrition disparities, policy approaches, and potential partners. Contributed to stakeholder engagement strategies and co-developed a proposed bill and public health campaign recommendations.

Created an actionable advocacy plan with objectives to increase healthy food access, educate residents, and influence policymakers, providing a framework for systemic change in Texas.

cohort happy hour

February 2025 

Planned and coordinated a happy hour for Oracle NetSuite’s Sales Development Representative October cohort at The Dainty Dillow. Managed event logistics including date, time, and venue coordination to ensure a seamless experience.


Goal to build stronger connections within the SDR cohort, encourage collaboration, and create an informal environment for team bonding outside of the workplace.


Led all event logistics and communications, securing the venue, coordinating with bar staff to reserve space, and sending invitations and reminders to ensure maximum turnout.


Achieved strong attendance and positive feedback, strengthened team morale, and improved collaboration. Communication and relationship-building with the bar manager also resulted in an exclusive group discount on drinks and complimentary snacks.

Europe Summer Trip

July - August 2024

Planned and executed a multi-country summer trip for a group of families, with stops in Greece, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Managed all aspects of the travel experience, creating a seamless and enjoyable itinerary.


Goal to design a memorable and stress-free European vacation that balanced cultural exploration, relaxation, and family-friendly activities.


Led all planning and logistics, including building the itinerary, budget, booking flights, hotels, ground transportation, restaurants, and excursions. Coordinated details across four countries to ensure smooth transitions and tailored experiences for each person.


The trip was successfully executed with positive feedback from families, who highlighted the smooth logistics, well-balanced itinerary, and thoughtful planning that enhanced the overall experience.

Cabo San Lucas Birthday Celebration Event

March 2024

Planned and executed a 21st birthday celebration in Cabo San Lucas, coordinating a full day of activities including a pool party, boat excursion, and beachfront dinner.


Goal to design a full-day celebration centered around the birthday girl, coordinating excursions and shared experiences to bring the group together in celebration.


Led all planning and logistics, including creating detailed itineraries, cost breakdown sheets, booking excursions, transportation, and coordinating with local vendors for activities and dining.


Each event ran smoothly, receiving positive guest feedback for the well-structured schedule, seamless coordination, and budget-conscious planning that accommodated everyone.
